At the end of July my little girl turned 3.
I can't believe that three years have went by already.
She is so amazing, she has brought such a light into our
home. She is funny, outgoing, energetic and such a girl.
She loves anything pink or frilly. She is our candy monster,
we can't have candy around the house because you will find
her at 2:00 am eating candy! She loves to play with the
neighbors and her cousins. We are so blessed to have her
in our family. I love you so much, little Libby.

Haulin' Hay

Every year for as long as I can remember we have hauled hay.
But I have never thought of it as work! Probably because I always
drove the tractor, but now that I'm old enough and able I have to
help throw bales on the trailer. Easy enough right... no, on top of
it I have hay fever!! When I touch the hay I break out in hives,
my eyes itch, I cough and I can't breathe! And I'm not the only one
I have two brothers with the same thing and my mom has it too.
And now we have found out Tate also has it!!! So you really can't
complain when there are others working hard, and as sick as you.
But I still love getting up there and seeing my kids have fun
just like I did when I was there age. And showing them
hard work. The summer has just begun, there is more
hay to be cut and bailed and there is nothing better
then looking over a empty field, and the barn is full.

My dad with the little girls! They are not much help:)

my new horse

This is my new horse RUGAR
I got him in April, but I have been waiting to put up pics
of him until we went on a good ride, but the rain all
spring has made it hard to get out and ride, so this is as
good as it gets. Anyway I have been looking for a horse
for awhile and Gwen Summers has been nice enough to go
with me to help me pick out a good one this time. I didn't have
to look far, my cousin was moving to Montana and needed to
sale all of there animals. So I went and test rode him. Right from
the start I felt comfortable with him. So I bought him with one
stipulation from Wade and Gwen; I would put him with a trainer
for a month. So I put him with Jennifer Austin, she works out of
Smithfield. She taught me so much, and gave me a lot of confidence
that I lost last Aug.
I got him back June 1st, just in time for the rain!
So hopefully I will have some great pics of us up in the mountains soon.

Getting ready to ride with Jennifer

I have never had a horse that will just stand there
while you put on the saddle. It is so cool!

Little Libby

I love this time of the year! The flowers
in my yard look so good and the weeds haven't
shown there ugly little head yet :) These are
my Iris that I got from my uncle Paul. He yelled
at me the other day because I bought columbine.
So from now on I will do my flower shopping in
his yard. Free of charge I hope :)
And what can make a flower even better?
my little Libby. It was hard trying to get her
to sit long enough to take these pics, but she
always makes me proud!

Soooo tired

Libby just can't handle warm weather! We spent all
day outside, planting, mowing, tilling, playing, just plain
running. We were loving that the sun was out and
that it was warm enough to be outside.
That night we got Libby in the tub and feed her
dinner. As I came out to put her to bed this is
how I found her. Looks like she beat me to it!

Soccer rocks!!!

Tate's first soccer season. What a great first year of
soccer, It was a blast! Tate had a lot of fun, and so did
we. Tate did great and even managed to make some goals.
I have come to realize I'm one of the loud obnoxious
parents on the side lines just wishing I could get in
there and show these five year olds how its done!
So I'm sorry, to anyone who could not hear anything
over me screaming to get the ball. I'm sad to see soccer
be over. I'm afraid T-ball isn't this fun.

BED BEARS

We have a problem in our home. Kids sleeping in there
own bed!! So last Saturday night I was scrap booking and
complaining about my family sleep habits, when a lady
told me what she did in her family that worked. Bed Bears
The kids get there own container and when they sleep all
night in there bed they get a bed bear. Each bed bear is
worth $1 at the end of the month they count there bears
and they can get whatever they want with there bed bear
money. But if they come into mom and dad's room they get
a bear taken away. So we decided to try it, Tate is doing great!
Libby gets a bear, gets a bear taken away, gets a bear, gets a bear
taken away. Every morning they wake up excited to see if they get
a bed bear. I can't wait till the end of the month, I think it
will sink in even more when they get to buy something they want.

I got the bears at The Book Table

I let them decorate there container.
Wish us luck.
I just want to sleep through the night!!!!!!!
